I also have been involved in fiber craft from the age of eight.
Back then, it was sewing quilts for my Barbie. She didn’t care that they were a bit crooked.
On to knitting and sewing my own clothes. Then sewing casual and heirloom clothes (think smocked!) for my two girls.
Now it’s all come full circle. I’m weaving my own cloth and sewing with it.
Oh, and twill’s my favorite weave structure!
